Since Giotto painted many frescoes, students drew and painted their 2-point perspective pictures on wet plaster of paris thus trying to mimic Giotto's style of painting.

Mrs. Collins - Kindergarteners and Shape
In art lines make shapes and shapes make EVERYTHING! Students have been learning the importance of drawing shapes properly. Shapes make up everything we draw - even SCARECROWS! These aren't going to scare the crows away but they sure are cute!
November - Artist of the Month
Peter Paul Ruben is November's Artist of the Month. Classes will be comparing his painting to Giotto's. Students will also study how shape in a painting is important to create proper composition and movement.

5th Graders use of One-Point Perspective in their Giotto inspired landscape paintings.
4th Grade - Landscape Watercolor Paintings
4th Graders created depth in their fall landscape paintings by use of color, size and placement of objects.
