Winslow Homer Picture Study

A picture study is when we take a Master Artists print and try to copy what we see.  It is not an easy exercise, however, every year I am amazed at what the students produce.  This is a skill that is taught and a discipline that is learned through practice.  The following pictures are picture studies of some of Homer's most popular paintings.
