Mrs. Bailey's 1st Graders - Yarn Bowls

Every once in a while, we create messes in art!
Our yarn bowls were no exception.
Students used glue to shape the yarn around our bowls.  However, this project did not go as "smoothly" as I anticipated.  As you can see from the pictures, we made a big mess!

An Element of Art - Form

The 4th graders were given an object to sculpt, emphasizing the use of form.  Form pertains to the volume or perceived volume. Three-dimensional artwork has depth, as well, as height and width.

4th Graders also created a cube with an Element of Art on each side of the cube.
