During class time, discussion focused on how the Ancient Greeks portrayed weaving in their pottery and various works of art. Earlier forms of weaving existed for practical purposes. However, later on through the centuries, weaving took a more artistic approach.
Students learned that weaving uses at least 3 elements (ingredients) of art - form, texture and color. Student worked on their weaving plates using only 2 mediums: yarn and a paper plate.
